What materials do you use?
Each type of diaper has different materials.
Fitteds: jersey knit outer layer, hemp terry or fleece hidden layer, organic velour inner layer. There is a two layer hidden layer of hemp jersey in the wet zone. The soaker is made of hemp terry or fleece and is topped with organic velour. Velour may or may not be dyed with Dylon dye to match the outer print. Diapers are serged using Wooly Nylon and have color-coordinating poly-resin snaps.
AIOs: Outer layer of PUL, inner layer of microfleece, hidden sewn-in soaker of microfiber. Snap closure of color-coordinated poly-resin snaps. Aplix closure is available ON REQUEST. **Cotton print can be added to outer layer, making PUL a hidden layer.**
Pocket Diapers: Outer layer of PUL, inner layer of microfleece. **Design still being ironed out so specifics can not be given at this point**
Fleece Diaper Covers: Polyester fleece and nylon serging thread.
PUL Diaper Covers: One layer PUL with fold over elastic edging. Snap or Aplix closure.
Diaper Bags - Cotton with hidden lightweight interfacing or lightweight canvas. Heavyweight interfacing for bag bottom. Design 101 is completely reversible.
Quilts - Cotton materials with Bamboo batting.
Do you have diapers with Velcro/Aplix closure?
Yes! Aplix closure diapers are faster than snap closures and in some cases have a tighter fit. Aplix is fantastic for quick diaper changes, especially for wiggly babies. Diapers made with Aplix include laundry tabs.
